Museene i Sør-Trøndelag

Museene i Sør Trøndelag (The museums of south Trøndelag) are the county's largest cultural institution. Our vision is to be one of the most exciting and active community players in the region, and we want to provide our visitors with surprising, educational and challenging arts and cultural experiences.

MiST AS is a consolidated museum with nine departmental museums and 25 public viewing venues. The company was founded on 16 December 2008 and is owned by the Sør-Trøndelag county council and the host municipalities Trondheim, Hitra, Rissa, Røros, Meldal and Orkdal, as well as the museum foundations.
The CEO is Karen Espelund and the administration has offices at Havnegata 12 in Trondheim.
